Multitalented player with strong leadership skills and good size (6 feet 2). Finished the season with 30 goals and 30 assists. Had two hat tricks this season and seven games with two or more goals. Headed to University of Minnesota.
PATRICK WHITE GRAND RAPIDS, SR., F
Tough competitor and not afraid to get physical. Led Grand Rapids to back-to-back appearances in the Class AA championship game (2006, '07) and was a Mr. Hockey finalist. Finished regular season with 15 goals and 30 assists. Headed to the University of Minnesota.
NIKO SACCHETTI VIRGINIA, JR., F
A rising star in the state. Could be a first-round pick in the NHL draft . Finished the season with 38 goals and 52 assists. Played last summer on the USA 17-under world championship team in Slovakia.
RYAN MCDONAGH CRETIN-DERHAM HALL, SR., D
Named Mr. Hockey on Sunday after helping Cretin post a 20-6-2 record. A versatile defender with scoring potential. Finished the season with 14 goals and 26 assists. Headed to University of Wisconsin
CHAD HUTTEL HERMANTOWN, SR., D
One of the leaders of Hermantown's 2007 Class A championship team. Finished regular season with 14 goals and 29 assists.
REID ELLINGSON,   CLOQUET, SR., G
Won Frank Brimsek Award as Minnesota's top senior goalie. Could be a first-round pick in NHL draft on June 22. Finished season with a 17-4-2 record with two shutouts, a .945 save percentage and a 1.69 goals-against average. Rated by NHL Central Scouting as one of nation's top 10 high school goalies
 
SECOND TEAM
MICHAEL DORR ROSEVILLE, SR., F
A major reason Roseville had a 22-4-1 season. Was second-leading scorer in metro area with 71 points (38 goals, 33 assists) and a Mr. Hockey finalist. Headed to University of Minnesota.
JAKE HANSEN WHITE BEAR LAKE, JR., F
Finished season with 28 goals and 43 assists. Had seven games with two goals or more and at least one assist in all but one game.
JORDY CHRISTIAN MOORHEAD, SR., F
A Mr. Hockey finalist. Considered one of best stickhandlers and passers in state. Finished season with 28 goals and 37 assists. Headed to St. Cloud State.
BRYAN BRUTLAG HOLY ANGELS, SR., D
Was a key part of Holy Angels' 26-1-1 season, which fell one game short of qualifying for Class AA tournament. Led metro area with 49 assists. Finished season with four goals.
AARON NESS ROSEAU, SO., D
The only sophomore on Pioneer Press all-state team. Helped Roseau win the 2007 Class AA tournament with three assists
AARON CRANDALL ST. THOMAS ACADEMY, JR., G
Helped the Cadets finish third in Class A tournament. Finished regular season with a 20-4-2 record, eight shutouts, a .937 save percentage and 1.289 GAA.

A key offensive threat for 2007 Class A champions. Finished regular season with 27 goals and 55 assists.
AARON MARVIN WARROAD, SR., F
A Mr. Hockey finalist. Finished regular season with 30 goals and 35 assists, and was No. 3 scorer in Elite League last fall. Headed to St. Cloud State.
JARED FESTLER LITTLE FALLS, JR., F
Scored 121 points (69 goals, 52 assists) during regular season. Was No. 2 scorer in fall Elite League with 36 points (17 goals, 19 assists).
BRANDON MARTELL ELK RIVER, SR., D
Listed by NHL Central Scouting as a high school player to watch. Ended regular season with 12 goals and 22 assists. Headed to University of Minnesota.
PATRICK MCCLURE ORONO, SR., D
Helped Orono to a 21-6-1 record. Led Wright County Conference in scoring with 57 points (25 goals, 32 assists).
BEN HAUSE CRETIN-DERHAM HALL, SR., G
Finished season with 612 saves, six shutouts and a 1.937 GAA. Considering attending St. John's, Air Force or Yale if he doesn't play in U.S. Hockey League.

Led Raiders to a 22-4-1 record by scoring 38 goals and assisting on 33 for 71 points. Made varsity as a ninth-grader. Quick skater who can pick corners with his hard shot. Mr. Hockey finalist. Committed to U.
 
JAKE HANSEN,  White Bear Lake, forward, jr.
Had 28 goals and 43 assists. "Put the puck on his stick and it is sorta like magic," Bears coach Tim Sager said. Hansen, who has committed to the Gophers, has joined Sioux Falls for rest of this USHL season and the next.
 
NICK LARSON,  Hill-Murray, forward, sr.
The Pioneers leader has a team-first philosophy and has signed with the Gophers for either the 2007-08 season or the season after. Has 28 goals and 30 assists. A clutch player and Mr. Hockey finalist.
 
BRYAN BRUTLAG,  Holy Angels, defenseman, sr.
Had four goals, 49 assists for the Stars, who finished 26-1-1 and were the state's No. 1-rated team much of the season. Solid on both ends of the ice. Signed with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Only repeat All-Metro pick. Had 14 goals and 26 assists. Big, tough at 6-1 and 200 pounds but can cover a lot of ice. Great balance. Mr. Hockey finalist. Signed with Wisconsin.

Had 1.94 goals-against average, six shutouts. Despite facing 10 more shots per game, he postednearly the same stats as last year's state championship season. He will play in the USHL or for St. John's.
