How She Got Started

Coach Gullickson remembers coaching her older brother in Bantams.  And remembers that "she was always at the rink ..."

Exciting player to watch and have on the team.  Works hard everyday and enjoys playing both ends of the ice. Not many girls who play here will be able to play the game the way she does.

A Final Tribute

The most humerous event I can remember of Kacy is her
forgetting her skates for our game at Farmington her Junior year. Since she is such a determined player she decided you would still warm-up with all of her equipment on including her helmet. Watching her do this outside the locker room was humerous. Sometimes she just didn't remember to bring all of her equipment, but when she did . . . , watch out.

Kacy has been a special player for New Prague since eighth grade.  To see a player of her caliber play both ends of the ice is a true test of her hockey knowledge and work ethic.  Her leadership on and off the ice has really helped New Prague be successful.  She will be truly missed by the coaching staff and players.  We will never see another player play the game the way she does.

To put into words what Kacy has meant for our program and for me is hard.  Everyday she showed up to practice she wanted to improve.  Her work ethic was top notch!  We have had and will have some special players but something was different with Kacy.  She cared so much for her teamates and donated a considerable amount of her time with our association teams.  She is going to be a great addition for UMD and hopefully she can help them to another National Championship.  Kacy was and is special and will be missed!
