A Final Tribute

* 1993-94:   Eight high schools sanctioned a girls hockey team.  An invitational tournament was held in February, for the eight teams.   The girls considered it their State Tournament.   In the final, Blaine/Coon Rapids defeated Anoka/Champlin Park 3-0.   Laura scored all three goals.   Blaine/CR finished the season 16-0.   Laura [9th grader] scored 70 pts.   That's a pts/gm average of 4.38.
1995 First Team All-State.
Led the state in scoring with 91 points.
        Scoring average of 4.14 pts/gm.

1996 First Team All-State

1997 All-State

All-Tournament Team:   1996 and 1997.

Member of the Girls All-Time Top Players listing because of  twice "First Team All-State" and "Leading Pioneer with outstanding stats".
Laura Tryba proved why she's a three-time all-state player. The Blaine senior scored five goals as the Bengals blanked Owatonna 9-0 Thursday at the State Fairgrounds Coliseum. Set records for most goals (5) and most points (6) in a game.
